The shady quiet corner of the gardens. Some empty chairs today. Look behind the fountain and you will see another that’s quite different and not noticed by most passerbys.
Gorgeous picture. This is the first photo I’ve seen on your blog & I’m already jealous of your camera. π
I learned recently that the other fountain was transplanted in 1856 from a nearby intersection (Saint-Placide mΓ©tro station), to allow for the rue des Rennes to blast through. Classic Haussmann, right?
