The line snaked for miles in and around the courtyards of the Louvre and people waited patiently under their umbrellas to get in “gratuit” to the Louvre. First Sunday of the month is always free. Mona had more admiring cameras than eyes and flanking her portrait and taking way from her allure, large “beware of pickpockets” signs. Not a very gratifying experience.
