the city takes on a new personality, it’s transformed. It’s startling to see so many people on the streets and groups sitting on the darkened grass along the Tuileries. Cafes are jammed spilling people out to tables on the sidewalk, temp is in the 70’s.

Monuments, statues take on a new meaning, bicycle night tours have command of the pathways and it is terribly romantic.  Wedding portraits are being shot along the reflective pools. It doesn’t get pitch black until after 9 so the wait is ON for tonight’s Eiffel Tower portrait.
